Lessons are offered Monday through Sunday. Lesson times are to be arranged with the teacher.
VAM piano students may participate in a weekly master class with the Head of the Piano Department, Lee Kum-Sing.
Lee Kum-Sing has concertized in England, France, Belgium, Germany, the United States, Canada, and throughout Asia. Since his arrival in Vancouver, he has developed an outstanding reputation as a master teacher. His pupils rank among the finest in the country and have won many awards in national and international competitions.
Candidates for piano workshop or piano master class must be recommended by their private teacher. Acceptance and placement in these classes is determined by audition.
VAM students registered for Individual Instruction are eligible to enroll in the following supplementary classes at no extra cost:

- VAM Orchestral Program
- Chamber Music Institute
- Master Class in Piano, Violin, Cello, and Voice
- Performance / Technique class
- Orff
- Kodaly
- Harp Ensemble
- Percussion Ensemble
